new wii game- it's kicking my ass! i was sore the first 2 days- it's so intense- but my "trainer" is awesome and he yells random things at me like "empty your tank" and "you're really owning that track!" much nicer than wii fit.

i love having meetings in the greaton room because it's so old school. old wood paneling in a building that looks like a castle? yes, please. the trophies are also a nice touch.

tonight, we celebrated courtney's 100 days left of her sju employment- i made pasta. this is a big deal, since i do not like pasta. but my lenten promise is to try new things. courtney is my big anthony- she watched the pasta pot so it did not cover a small italian village.

i love how imposing 30th st. station is- even though most of it is barely used. i wish i traveled more via amtrak (only if it was not as expensive) because i love their waiting room. xoxo philadelphia.

live from the world cafe...ingrid michaelson for the musicians on call benefit concert- amaaaazinnnggg. for "you and i" my favorite ingrid jam, she & her band sang around one mic and then the drummer bent down to the kick drum. it was AMAZINNNGG. it more than makes up for the extreme amount of PDA occurring around us. pretty nice way to end some snow daysssss.

foiled attempts at dinner in the city care of snowpocalypse & the flu- meant last minute plans to attend the sju vs. slu basketball game w/ courtney "jameer" dombroski and kelly "biliken" bersett in the hagan area. a lot classier than the old alumni memorial field house. even tim lannon chided kelly for cheering on her undergrad alma mater.

one of my favorite things about my life is that i have a reserved parking spot in a garage. it also means that i never have to clean snow off of my car. kind of balances out the fact that i live in a "dorm"..kind of.

oh the joys of being an alpha gamma delta advisor means that i'm 25 and still attend recruitment- and the bid day shirts from my senior year are considered "vintage"


lost a great guy this weekend. every time i walk into ashwood, i think of mike. spending so many nights doing anything or nothing with him-and now in my job i wonder how we never got caught-including when he decided that we would have a "hurricane party" and drink hurricane 40s and he was screaming at the actual hurricane brewing outside care of mother nature. so many of my great college memories involve him and he brought so much to everyone who's life he touched. you'll be missed bud-we love you.

took advantage of blizzard conditions on the east coast to do my taxes. and then called my dad so he could tell me that he was proud of me for doing them before april 15th and not crying once. i'm half an adult.

started w/ a new spiritual director today. she is a saucy sister of mercy. only appropriate follow up to h.stewart and a spirituality retreat with diane whalen. this is gonna be good.
