i've really been bringing it in scrabble recently- i've gotten 3 bingos (using all tiles on one turn) in the past 24 hours and a high score of 106 points for one word. my vocab is expanding at an alarming rate. however some people are now refusing to play with me.

thought i had a photo for today- until i got in from a long day- capped with dinner on carson st to find a "congrats on your new baby" card from my parents for my recent iphone purchase. i love them. i named my son flash, because he has a cover with a lightning bolt on it. they even signed their predetermined grandparent names "hap" and "winky." have i mentioned that i love them?

professional staff retreat the morris arboretum in chestnut hill. this is a "squirrel scramble" nets 50 ft over the forest floor, showing what it would be like to be a squirrel. or, if you are us, eddie tackling kelly. very un-squirrel like.

arrupe

courtney, kelly & i stayed out of the way while jj, marci & mep attempted to put together the 50 inch tv today to watch a documentary about the life of pedro arrupe. interesting stuff. and note new mod furniture in the sourin lounge, for those that have seen the past furniture.

book club discussion questions- light ages beyond the last time we decided to start a book club and we didn't discuss the book at all. good to spend time with people who knew you when you were a collegiate hot mess...not that i've really improved all that much...
