this person is a jerk. she parked her HUGE car literally at the intersection- put her flashers on to go into starbucks to get a cup of coffee on one of the tightest & busiest streets in the general area. jerk. not to mention this was my 3rd trip to starbucks of the day...the caffeine may have heightened my nerves- but she was engaging in dangerous behavior.

first meeting of "local arrangements for the naspa conference that philadelphia is hosting next year. mbrink & i are charged with planning the service day for the conference- out of the 5,000 attendees in chicago in march, only 15 participated in the service day- we have our work cut out for us...

had a great day of favorite foods: brunch w/ loves at parc & dinner w/ wb at mcshea's washed down with a hoegarden. mmm mmm good. really can't get much better. and i finally made oatmeal (with no raisins or other special ingredients) for courtney, as promised, a week late.

National Community Day- awesome! eddie & i found 2 dead birds in a bush at the wynnefield library while pulling weeds. capped off the day with ovb end of the year bbq & an impromptu water balloon fight. summer is so close i can feel it.

iphone photo. closing out the weekend with gaelic storm & carbon leaf. during one of gaelic storm's photos they divided the audience in half- one side was charged with yelling "i bring the whiskey" and our half charged with "i bring the light" actually meaning moonshine, but depicted through holding up our cell phones. kelly & i opened our phones with the darth vader light saber app. approps.

no photo should be posted from saturday. so my no pudge "fudge" is the fact that this photo is actually from sunday. months ago i mentioned to nora how much i loved this icon on an email we both received. and she made it into an amazing shirt on cafe press. love love love.

i joined the toms nation eventhough i am anti-shoes in general. i realize that sometimes other people need shoes- so i can wear them while also giving those in need some kicks as well.

she's really good at smudging

amy comments that i am a really good smudger- as evident by campus adams. needed some cleansing- so i smudged my apartment on saturday. i think my passing residents may have thought i was smoking pot in my apartment. i feel a little purified in both of those thoughts.

we are required to have all of our students fill out census forms for their temporary residence on campus...aka i am filling out a lot of census forms for students in their temporary on campus residence. i hope they don't bring in a handwriting expert.

malaria map

spent 2 hours getting all of my vaccinations up to date for my trip to ecuador next month. my arm hurts, i have 2 electronic maps of malaria & yellow fever and have to take live typhoid for the next 8 days. yowza. the health care professional was NOT amused when i told her i didnt take anything before going to guatemala last summer. i have a hearty immune system.
